The Innova Dance Expereience

With over 20 years of combined teaching experience, Jessica and Kara are excited to bring Innova Dance to Warman, Saskatchewan!

These exceptional teachers have combined their talents in order to make their dream of creating a new and innovative dance experience for their students a reality. Jessica and Kara have a common goal to foster the growth of each individual dancer by creating life long friendships and skills while providing the highest quality of accredited dance training Warman has to offer.

The importance of dance has been stitched into every fibre of Jessica's life since the moment she could walk. With time, a love of dance, and perseverance Jessica has become a highly qualified and sought-after instructor and choreographer in Saskatchewan, holding her teacher certificates from the Royal Academy of Dance, ADAPT and Acrobatic Arts. Jessica is going into her 10th year as the owner and artistic director of JD Dance in Rosetown, SK, and has also been the Ballet Director at Dance Ink in Saskatoon since 2011. In this time, she has successfuly seen countless student through their Grade 1 - Advanced 2 RAD ballet exams.

Jessica has an unwavering commitment to train strong and confident dancers, believing that ballet is so much more than tutu's and tulle. It is a lifelong endeavour, but luckily her passion and fervour to continually learn, and develop her own training helps to attain these goals. Each generation has learned from the one before it, and Jessica will continue to pass on a love of music and dance to the next generation here in Warman.

Kara Dubyk

Kara Dubyk is a prominent dance instructor based out of Saskatoon. She holds teaching certificates from ADAPT,  Acrobatique, Progressing Ballet Technique, Alixa Flexibility in addition to a B.Ed in Education from the University of Saskatchewan. She has has received recognition for her work as the artistic director and owner of the Abiding Lines Dance Company which has led to opportunities including a role as guest instructor at Harbour Dance Centre (Vancouver,BC) and a choreography showcase alongside some of Canada's most talented choreographers. 

While she has enjoyed travelling and teaching professional dancers, her greatest joy and accomplishment is being the proud owner of the Hanley School of Dance for the last 11 years and co-owner of  Innova Dance in Warman, SK.  Kara has a passion for training and inspiring young students to love dance the way she does! 

Lauren Worobec

Lauren grew up dancing at the Lanigan Dance Dynamics. She has studied a variety of styles including; ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical and Hip Hop. She has completed numerous CDTA and ADAPT exams under the direction of Kara Dubyk, Ashley Burrns, Randi-Lee Loshak and Nicole Riehl. As her training continued she danced with the Saskatchewan Dance Project (2014-2015) and the Abiding Lines Dance Company (2014-2017), which landed her jobs performing at WEday, SABEX and the Prairie Feast. Lauren has been inspiring students all over Saskatchewan while teaching at the Watrous School of Dance and the Hanley School of Dance.
